On July 31st 2010, 5 people are going to be throwing themselves out of an aeroplane to raise money for Hanna’s Orphanage (parachutes will be attached!). One of those people will be me, so I know that we would appreciate any support (and money!) you can give!

Most of us are paying for the jump entirely ourselves, so 100% of the money raised will go to the orphanage – money well spent, I think you’ll agree!

- In July 28th 2008, I left behind a perfectly good job, flat and life (!) and moved to Ethiopia for ... well, for a variety of different reasons, some selfish, some not. I spent 15 months there, based in Addis and in Lalibela, and this blog was started to chart my ups and downs and the work Hanna's Orphanage and LEAP do there. I no longer live in Ethiopia, but I still visit two or three times a year and continue to work on my charity, Hanna's Orphanage, as well as with others, including LEAP and Football Action.
